Robert I. Merrill is excited to have been awarded the opportunity to provide doors for Cabela’s newest distribution center in Tooele County, Utah.

Cabela’s, founded in 1961, is recognized as the World’s Foremost Outfitter of hunting, fishing, camping, and other related outdoor merchandise.

The new building will be an expansive 600,000 square feet which will be in charge of handling all the freight and products being shipped to Cabela’s 54 chain stores across North America. The $50 million Utah facility will also bring up to 300 jobs to Tooele County by the time it is finished in July 2015. Governor Gary R. Herbert said, “The creation of Cabela’s Utah distribution center will strengthen our valued outdoor industry and create family sustaining jobs in rural areas.”

So, not only are we thrilled to be able to provide commercial doors for an extremely large building, but also that we can be a part of something that will provide jobs and help families in the community in the near future.
