Job Title: Door Finisher

Robert I. Merrill is seeking a skilled and experienced Door Finisher to join our growing team in our Wood Door Division. As a Door Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishes to wood doors, including clear coating and matching specified finishes to meet customer requirements.
 
Responsibilities:
- Apply finishes to wood doors according to specified requirements
- Match existing finishes to ensure consistency and quality
- Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, staining, and sealing
- Inspect finished doors for quality and make any necessary touch-ups
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling finishes and chemicals
 
Requirements:
- Previous experience in wood finishing
- Knowledge of different types of wood finishes and techniques
- Ability to match specified finishes accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy doors
- Knowledge of safety protocols for handling finishes and chemicals
